Generally speaking, a spherical roller bearing comprises two rows of spherical rolling elements, one 
retainer, as well as a pair of spherical rings, which are respectively working as an inner ring and 
outer ring. The center point of the sphere in the outer ring raceway is at the bearing axis. By this 
feature, therefore, the bearings are, in some degree, self-aligning and insensitive to misalignment 
of the shaft relative to the housing, which can be caused, for example, by shaft deflection.
